Terms or Service and Privacy Statement

Here it is, our own privacy label:

Privacy Statement

We are a project aimed at protecting privacy. Therefore we collect as little data as possible.

Website

Our website uses MicroWeber, an Open Source CMS. We've made some modifications to it so it becomes more privacy friendly. For example, it should no longer load any data from third parties (such as fonts).

  • The CMS does have an internal system to keep track of visitors. It uses your IP address to guess which country you are from.
  • If you contact us through the website, then the website stores your messages internally.

Label maker tool

By default the label mater tool does not collect any data, since it stores the label in your browser, and not on our server. Only once you create an account will some data be stored on our server. Mainly this:

  • We store your email address, and a hash of your password, so you can log in. Our login system also stores some data to detect abuse, such as how often in a row the password was entered incorrectly.
  • We store the data from the labels itself, and data such as the date of creation and when the label was last updated. If we expand the functionality of the label tool, then we will explain what new data is processed here.

Our webhosting provider may store some basic meta data as well, as most webhosting systems come with some built-in logging functionality. But we don't use that data.
